Another day, another award for Massive Attack, this time for ‘Outstanding Contribution To British Music’ at the Ivor Novello Awards ceremony held earlier today in London, UK. In his acceptance speech, 3D admitted he felt “dishonest” standing on stage without all of the past vocalists and collaborators Massive Attack have worked with. Some of the past artists who have won the same award have been The Clash and Kate Bush. Also at this year’s Ivor Novello Awards, Elbow picked up two awards. The lead singer of Elbow, Guy Garvey may or may not feature on the upcoming Massive Attack album.
