Mexican Date Cancelled

Massive Attack's world tour which was due to start in Mexico at the Auditorio Telmex, Guadalajara has been postponed from this coming Saturday, 5th September until 20th February 2010. All tickets purchased so far are still good for the rescheduled date. In a statement, the band issued about the Mexican postponement - "With deep regret we’ve had to postpone our show in Guadalajara as we have to finish mixing the new record here in Bristol. Hopefully we’ll see everyone who has tickets next February. Thanks for your support and patience".
This now makes the Bestival show on the 11th September the official start of the tour which will then proceed to a full 14 date UK tour before hitting continteal Europe until the end of November. There are also increasing rumors that Massive Attack will be visiting Australia and North America in February/March next year.
